Hot work - fire prevention measures for roofing
    
        
            Fires caused by roofing, welding, cutting, soldering, heating, or other hot work can be avoided with the right knowledge.
        
    
                
            In this one-day course (AMU605), you will learn how to plan and perform hot work safely. You will be able to assess hazards, take the necessary fire safety measures, and carry out roofing tasks correctly from a fire safety perspective. Practical fire extinguishing exercises are included.
Roofing often involves using a gas torch to bond roofing felt – a task that demands thorough preparation and constant focus on safety. This course gives you the skills to prevent dangerous fires.
After passing the final test, you will receive:
- A qualification certificate
- A hot work certificate (valid for 5 years in Denmark, Norway, and Finland)
- A DBI certificate and an AMU diploma

            Anyone working with roofing or other hot work on roofs. Practical clothing and footwear required.
