Hot work-fire prevention measures for spark-tools
Fires caused by roofing, welding, cutting, grinding, soldering, drying, heating, or weed burning should never happen. With the right knowledge, hot work can be carried out safely.
In this one-day course, you will learn how to plan and perform hot work with a focus on fire safety. You will gain skills to assess hazards, take the right safety measures, and carry out roofing tasks correctly from a fire safety perspective. Practical fire extinguishing exercises are included.
Roofing often involves a gas torch to bond roofing felt, making it a high-risk type of hot work. This training gives you the knowledge and routines needed to avoid dangerous fires.
After completing the course and passing the multiple-choice test, you will receive:
- A qualification certificate
- A hot work certificate valid for 5 years in Denmark, Norway, and Finland
- A DBI certificate and an AMU diploma.
